More About College Heights Children and Families?

Why we exist?

To collaborate with you and prepare you to become purposeful about building a God honoring home.
God designed the family as the primary place for discipleship and God gave parents the privilege of nurturing faith in the next generation.

The focus of College Heights Children’s Ministry is to partnership with you to fully develop your children to be a follower of Jesus Christ. We do this together one step at a time. We encourage your children in faith steps built on God’s word, Prayer, Worship, Christian fellowship, Giving and Serving and Family Time. We desire for your children to have a clear understanding to trust Christ as his or her personal Savior and follow the Lord in Believers Baptism; to partnership with you together to see them grow in spiritual wisdom, stature and favor with God and man. (Luke 2:52)

What programs do we have?

RA’s and GA’s  – Royal Ambassadors® (boys) and Girls in Action® (girls) are missions discipleship organizations for grades 1-6. Through hands-on activities that encourage spiritual growth, children learn about, pray for, give to, missions work, and service projects.  They also make new friends, develop mentor relationships and have lots of fun!

Children’s Choir  – If your kids loves to sing and play music, don’t miss out on Children’s Choir. Our experienced leaders work with children grades 1-6 teaching them how to worship Jesus through the worship arts. They perform periodically for the congregation and parents.

Bible Drill  – We are excited to teach your child to love Jesus through His word. Understanding where the Bible comes from, how many books are in the Bible, and memorization of scripture in a competitive fun exciting game atmosphere. This program also competes in local churches and in state bible drill competitions. You won’t want your child to miss out!

Small Group Bible Study – Sunday mornings are filled with age appropriate lessons on God’s word and applications through exploration of songs, crafts, visuals, interactive games, and explorations of all kinds.

Answers for Kids – Provides a Biblical worldview foundation. Explores questions kids have about basic Biblical foundations found in the book of Genesis. Where do Dinosaurs come from? Did God really create in six days? What is God’s purpose for humans? Application and discovery of fossils, geology, animals, creation, the universe, and much more.

Specific Summer programs – These are designed to enhance your child’s spiritual training in special events such as camps, sleepovers, exploration of the world God created, and more. Examples of these are Star Gazing, family camping events, fossil explorations, family outdoor movie nights, etc.
